Request An Absentee Ballot

USPS recommends that you request your ballot by October 20.

If you have not requested it by October 20, you may not receive it in time to cast your vote.

All registered Delaware voters should automatically receive a ballot request form in the mail.

Return Your Ballot

Hand deliver your completed ballot to your county department of elections as soon as possible.

If you mail your ballot, USPS recommends doing so no later than October 27.

Check the status of your ballot here.

If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.

Vote in Person

Election Day is November 3

If you meet one of six absentee requirements listed on the application, you may be able to request and cast an absentee ballot in one trip at your Department of Elections before 12pm on November 2.
