Voting has ended for the 2020 General Election
Find updated information for future elections on your state website.
Same-Day Registration is available in person before 8pm on Election Day at your town’s designated Election Day Registration location.
You cannot register at your polling site on Election Day.
Request An Absentee Ballot
USPS recommends that you request your ballot by October 20.
If you have not requested it by October 20, you may not receive it in time to cast your vote.

All registered Connecticut voters should automatically receive a ballot request form in the mail.
Return Your Ballot
Follow all directions and return your completed ballot to any ballot drop box in your town as soon as possible.
If you mail your ballot, USPS recommends doing so no later than October 27.
Check the status of your ballot here.
If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.
