Vote Absentee

USPS recommends that you request your ballot by October 20.

If you have not requested it by October 20, you may not receive it in time to cast your vote.

INDIANA DOES NOT CONSIDER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC A VALID EXCUSE TO VOTE ABSENTEE.

If you meet one of eleven requirements you can apply to vote absentee.

RETURN YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT

Follow all directions and hand deliver your completed ballot to your county election official or voting location as soon as possible. Bring a valid photo ID.

If you mail your ballot, USPS recommends doing so no later than October 27.

If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.
