Voting has ended for the 2020 General Election

North Dakota does not require voter registration.

Request An Absentee Ballot

USPS recommends that you request your ballot by October 20.

If you have not requested it by October 20, you may not receive it in time to cast your vote.

You’ll need to enter information from a valid ID.

You can apply, complete, and cast your Absentee Ballot at your County Auditor beginning September 24.

RETURN YOUR BALLOT

Hand deliver your ballot to your County Auditor or a county drop box as soon as possible.

To return your ballot by mail, USPS recommends sending it by October 27.

If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.

October 19 – November 2

You can apply, complete, and cast your Absentee Ballot at your County Auditor beginning September 24.

Election Day is November 3
