Voting has ended for the 2020 General Election

Find updated information for future elections on your state website.

Register to Vote

You can also register in person at your clerk’s office through Election Day.

Suggested Deadline to register:

October 30

Vote By Mail

Mail-in ballots are automatically sent to each registered Vermont voter.

Fill it out carefully and sign the back of the envelope.

Hand deliver the completed ballot to your town clerk’s office or ballot drop box as soon as possible, or at your voting location on Election Day.

If you mail your ballot, USPS recommends doing so no later than October 27.

Check the status of your ballot here.

If you are a first time voter who registered by mail or online, follow all directions carefully. You may need to include a copy of an ID with your ballot.
